This work was facilitated by Sarra Tzijan, made with four other mothers during a women’s circle. It’s about power, strength, grief and vital human connection.

This group of five women formed a strong connection in Mparntwe/Alice Springs from early postpartum. The work was made about 18 months after birth to document this significant shared experience. Each object is a marker of time. The collective work is reflective of community strength and our personal bonds that formed over this time.
